Filmpossible Contest
The staff and children of H.S. McLellan Preschool need your support!! We have entered a contest called "filmpossible" that is being hosted by Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. We have submitted a short video that demonstrates our philosophy of inclusion and features many of the children in our program. The first round of finalists are chosen based on the number of votes that are received. Votes are being accepted until midnight on September 15th. Your votes would be appreciated. You are allowed go online and vote daily You will find our video at www.filmpossible.ca. Click the entries tab, and look for the video entitled "Creating Places for All Children".
CALL FOR ART SUBMISSIONS!
The Assistive Communication and Writing Aids clinic is looking for fun, colorful artwork from children and youth, to decorate the clinic walls. We will provide a sheet of 12"x18" paper to interested artists, to draw, paint, or collage a picture. Chosen art work will be displayed on a rotational basis in the clinic. A piece of 12"x18" paper can be picked up at CRCA reception. Please submit your artwork with a brief description of the artist and of their artwork, to reception. For artists who would prefer to use a computer program such as Microsoft Paint or Corel Draw, art submissions can be submitted via email to ACWA@crcalgoma.ca or in person, on letter size paper.
