Stoners across the globe consider Canadian weed Activist, Rick Simpson as somewhat of an enigma. The man had reported cured cancer with the use of RSO oil. This was acknowledged and shown to users in the form of a documentary by the name of Run from the Cure.”

RSO oil

It showed how Mr. Simpson, used his own skills to extract cannabis and produce Rick Simpson oil. Sadly, even though the documentary created quite the uproar in households, the Legal States still admonish the use of RSO owing to its high THC component. Now, unlike cannabidiol (CBD) which is solely used for medical purposes, tetrahydrocannabinol THC is responsible for the ‘Stoner’s High”

Probably this is the reason why RSO oil is still not sold over-the-counter. However, its healing properties cannot be overlooked. From providing relief against anxiety, aiding arthritis, depression, certain forms of cancer; to curing inflammation, high blood pressure and even insomnia, Rick Simpson oil comes loaded with medicinal properties.

Therefore, the best way to achieve this is by extracting it at home. Thus, if you’re looking to make Rick Simpson oil then go through this blog.

Procedure

To make your RSO oil at home, start with placing the indica strains inside the 5-gallon bucket. Now, pour your selected solvent over the indica strains and while pouring use the wooden spoon to crush the herb.

Now, once done, continue crushing and stirring the herb and solvent mixture for approximately 3 minutes. This will help the THC get absorbed in the solvent with ease. Once you stir for a while, the THC by now will be 80% infused within the solvent.

After this, take cheesecloth and place it over your indica infused solvent. Now, slowly drain the solvent via the cheesecloth into the wooden bowl. The residue of the herb you can dispose of once the solvent is safely drained.

The next step is to transfer the solvent into your rice cooker. You need to make sure the rice cooker has ¾ of the solvent solution present before turning it on. In such an instance, the rice cooker is the best deal for making RSO oil for several reasons.

[Note: It provides the ideal temperature and ensures that the solvent doesn’t heat above 300 degrees. Excess heat can hamper the solution and destroy cannabinoids; this will make the RSO useless.]

Now, keep the rice cooker’s temperature within 210-230 degrees, as this helps facilitate decarboxylation. Now, once the solvent heats up it’ll start to evaporate; so as that kicks off, keep adding the rest of the solvent to the cooker.

Soon enough once all the solvent evaporates, you’ll be left with the oil. Now, use the syringe to extract the RSO oil, and you’re done.

Well, that did not sound too taxing right? So, make your own solution and treat your medical issues in an herbal way. Good Luck!
